The exterior cylinder allows teachers to secure the door from outside, while the inside lever always remains unlocked to prevent anyone from being locked in. Built with a robust cylindrical locking mechanism and solid zinc diecast levers, it offers durability for heavy-use doors. It fits wood or metal doors from 1-3/8″ to 2″ thick, meets ANSI Grade 2 standards, is ADA compliant, and is UL Listed for 3-hour fire doors.
