The GE 40 Amp Double Pole Ground Fault Circuit Breaker with Self-Test features a tin-plated copper stab for a secure, durable, and corrosion-resistant electrical connection. Incorporating self-test functionality—required by UL standards since June 2015—this breaker automatically performs periodic diagnostics to confirm proper ground fault protection. If a fault is detected, the breaker will trip to ensure safety and must be replaced.
