Designed specifically for the older NuTone model 696N with an 8 in. x 7.25 in. housing (manufactured before 1999), this motor assembly is not compatible with models 696N-R01, 696N-R02, or 696N-R03, which have a 7.25 in. x 7.5 in. housing. Installation takes 10 minutes or less, as the unit snaps securely into the existing housing without the need for wiring.
